Jinghong Xu(徐敬宏)

Xu Jinghong is a professor at the school of Journalism and communication of Beijing Normal University, member and Mainland head of the steering committee of the Chinese Communication Association (CCA) , visiting scholar of Fulbright.

Profile

Bachelor of English from Hubei University, master of Journalism and doctor of communication from Wuhan University, postdoctoral from the Law Institute of the Chinese Academy of social sciences.

Visiting scholars from the University of Pennsylvania, the University of California, San Diego, the City University of Hong Kong and the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

(1) Beijing Social Science Foundation "Research on the use and opinion expression of social media for Beijing teenagers" (Project No.: 20xcb012), from December 2020 to June 2022, under research.

(2) The 2019 general project of the State Language Commission, "Research on the impact of network language on the language ability of youth groups" (Project No.: yb135-113), was under research from January 2020 to December 2021.

(3) In 2020, he studied and explained the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee. He is the leader of the sub project of the major project of the National Social Science Fund "Research on the establishment of all media communication system" (chief expert: Professor Liu Dehuan).
